Fjazz

Fernando Arruda, aka Fjazz, is a saxophone player, multi-instrumentalist (flute, clarinet, piano, guitar, EWI4000s) and music producer. He merges live acoustic performances with heavily produced electronic music in New York City. His debut CD,Posthuman Times (November, 2011) pushes the boundaries between improvised acoustic jazz and sound designed electronic music.His work combines diversity, technical quality, accurate emotional expression and originality. He is interested in the digital technology created during WWII/Cold War and how it is used nowadays in contemporary music and in financial systems.
