Brooklyn resident, Rao, is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and DJ. Formerly the guitarist and bassist of several rock bands, Rao has been merging his past experiences with his current influences to weave together a unique sound. He's also apart of NY event series and DJ collective, Dévotion NY. Having produced and played various events throughout NY, Rao has learned to work a variety of crowds over the years. From playing the main stage at Brooklyn Mirage to Elements & PEX festivals. Rao's most recent release is on Denis Horvat's imprint, Vokabularium. His track ‘Fade’ features an energetic build up to reveal a groovy bass guitar line. With the breakdown providing a moment of pause, the drop delivers a powerful synth lead.
