Electronic music is a journey. It knows no borders, no genre and no compromises. French producer PELIKAAN builds a dreamy universe, inviting the listener to fly along on a mystic quest for sound. As all travellers know too well though, it is not so much about the destination that it is about the journey itself: a journey that PELIKAAN wishes to be spiritual, ethereal and introspective - but most importantly, fun. Being somebody who's never been too keen on putting things into well-labelled boxes, his style remains undefined, lying somewhere between downtempo and trip-hop, but not hesitating to take inspiration from jazz, rock, house, dub or African percussions.
