Mechanique

The portuguese producer and dj Jaime Paiva started his project Mechanique back in 1998. Inspired by the industrial influences of Nitzer Ebb and Front242, he rapidly evolved into the soundscapes of Techno. Having his debut EP on the legendary label Kaos Records in 2003, he has, since then, been producing a stream of tracks and steadily exploiting the deeper, intense, atmospheric side of electronic music. Imprinting his characteristic personal style on his creations, Mechanique extends his inspiration through his side-project Sphitzio, while managing his label Benthic Recordings, and acting as live-act / dj set.
