The Lights Electronika project started in the end of the last millennium at one of St.Petersburg’s high schools where the project’s future creators met. Max and Leon shared the same passion for music, hip hop being their major interest. First thoughts about electronic music came to them in 1998 after the guys saw a TV show dedicated to new music styles of the time. In 1999 the duo lost each other for a while Leon moved to Finland, but after a year they met again in Helsinki where they got to know drum and bass music and went in that direction.
