Larry Quest

In the studio, Larry carves a sound brimming with references to solid historic soundscapes, particularly the deepest end of the Chicago House music spectrum, translated into a modern interpretation. He composes and produces music like someone who's learned lessons from the likes of such legends as Larry Heard, Boo Williams or Derrick Carter, but also underground heroes like Ricardo Miranda or Chris Gray, melding his practice as a drummer, keyboardist, guitarist and as a former dancer, cutting tracks made for the body and the mind.
