Kaori Watt

Kaori Watt is a DJ and producer from Tokyo, Japan. She grew up with games and it was a childhood full of the blips and beeps of these games that inspired her love of electronic dance music. Kaori began her music career as a guitarist and vocalist in an alternative rock band. However, Kaori found herself naturally drawn toward producing her own music. This marked the beginning of her solo career under the stage name Sugar Sweetie. By 2021, Sugar Sweetie was receiving international attention after being selected as a finalist in Beatport’s The Big Break. After several releases, Kaori changed her stage name to Kaori Watt, which is similar to her actual name, out of a desire to better connect her music and her real-life persona, for new dance
