Having musically matured in hip hop, his path crossed Berlin in late 2006. T hat was pretty much when he decided to collaborate and create electronic music that - in spite of being geographically rooted in Berlin - takes cues from a diverse set of international, deep and sophisticated electronic music that goes beyond your run-off-the-mill contemporary deep-house track.The work of herbie is about detailed, lush arrangements, rather than about instant gratification; it's about drawing inspiration from artists like John Roberts and DNT EL, rather than from generic dancefloor tracks du jour. Because, after all, there's a beating heart at the center of everything that has a soul.
