Jonathan Sam, known as Damian Sam, was born and raised on the tropical island of Sri Lanka. His father, also a DJ, inspired him to learn to mix at the very young age of 12. He played his first event in Sri Lanka when he was 14 and has been performing ever since. Shortly after he moved to Los Angeles, California he redirected his focus towards playing house music. From California to Nevada, Phoenix has made a name for himself performing at large scale venues such as Exchange LA, Avalon Hollywood, Academy, and Pattern Bar.
