Cogun

Cogun is an electronic music project based in Prague, Czech Republic, with roots going back to the early 2000s. With a background spanning breakbeat, drum & bass, and other bass-driven genres, Cogun continues to explore the deeper and darker edges of electronic sound. From 2006 to 2013, the artist released music under the alias Breakzhead, actively contributing to the nu skool breaks scene and running a record label that saw multiple tracks reach the Beatport Breaks Top 10 — with support from artists like The Freestylers, Meat Katie, and Freq Nasty. In 2014, the project shifted focus to Drum & Bass, with releases on labels such as Mindtech and Onset Audio. Since 2020, Cogun has been releasing music independently, embracing full creative freedom without being tied to any particular genre.
