baye is Michael Venezia, a multi-instrumentalist, DJ and producer who creates electrorganic music for psychonauts.A product of the rave and industrial scenes of 90’s NYC, Michael cut his teeth with programming and synthesis work in cult machine rock band The Aggression.As 4th level he released blistering techno 12”’s on respected UK imprint Auk Recordings, started post-rock instrumental band In Loving Memory (http://inloving.net) as an outlet for moody, guitar-focused music, and added electronic sizzle to bohemian freak out unit The=Equation http://www.chewymusic.com/equation/).With all of the experience (and gear) amassed from these projects, Michael started his baye project to further develop ideas for compositions and mixes exploring the integration of analog hardware and DSP, of traditional instrumentation into electronic music, and to better understand the dialectical experiences of the archaic and the futuristic
