Bastard Love

Bastard Love never really had a choice in the matter: the son of musical parents he was coerced into guitar and singing lessons by the age of five.As time passed he grew to appreciate his skills and before long was singing blues, jazz and pop as well as writing lyrics and penning stories about love, simply for his own pleasure. Devouring the work of Depeche Mode, Prince and Fischerspooner, he was soon turned onto electronic music with the likes of Kerri Chandler, Carl Craig and SBTRKT in particular pricking his ears.Fast forward to now and he has fomented his own unique sound in collaboration with the likes of Alex Arnout and Mexican heroes Balcazar & Sordo, Nobody Knows and Miguel Puente, always tying pop inflections to deep and brooding beats
