The latest release from Just Movement welcomes Juan Sapia to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from the progressive house hotbed of Buenos Aires, the Argentinean artist has been hotly tipped to start 2019. Original projects for 3rd Avenue, Soundteller Records, Specific Music, Stellar Fountain and The Purr have all been sensational. Also laying claim to a release on Guy Mantzur's Plattenbank Records, Juan now lands on Just Movement with a new EP.

Beginning with 'Edam' Juan explores his pure progressive roots with a deep, mystical creation full of rich emotional qualities. Waves of undulating bass power the foundation while robust rhythms and tranquil arps fill in the framework. A strong percussive complement builds momentum, before perfectly segueing into a timely break. Angelic vocal pads rise to prominence, adding a cinematic flair, as a warm rush summons the beats for a massive drop.

The second selection 'Marken' showcases a deeper side of Juan's studio repertoire. Moving with a lazy, laid back momentum, layers of drums and dulcet rhythms converge for a feel good, hip swinging journey. Poignant piano stabs play off smooth chord changes and tranquil melodic concepts across a two minute break, while exotic drums keep the groove locked for a smooth transition into a gorgeous finale.

The release concludes with 'Volendam' which continues the deeper ethos set on 'Marken'. The tempo comes down and the groove opens up as warm synth swells, tasteful tones and soulful pianos coverage for a gorgeous blend of melody and colour, a sunset anthem in the making perhaps. Reflective in tone and timeless in execution, it rounds out a spectacular artist showcase from Juan, who makes his Just Movement debut in style
