Continuing the Canadian takeover of the Visceral airwaves, Toronto based Tim Penner now takes centre stage with a majestic 2 hour blend of tracks from across the all-star Proton family catalogues. Renowned for his innovative style and impeccable technique, Penner's ability to wow audiences with his crafted sets is second to none, illustrated by his choice of music for Visceral 019. A production portfolio that has developed a trademark cross-genre sound blends the kernels of techno, house and trance into a distinctive style that he can clearly call his own. Work has been signed to leading cutting edge labels including Proton Music, Replug and microCastle while a recent appearance on the "Sudbeats 2" compilation for Hernan Cattaneo's label has confirmed Penner's status within the upper echelons of underground dance scene.

Opening up Part 1 with the smooth pulsating bass of Ishome, a cultured approach sees Navar take his place with two wonderful remixes of Andrew McDonnell and Pedro Aguiar before Penner's sometime production partner, DNYO, is treated to a rework from Polish 'producer of the moment', Kobana. Fellow Canadian and rising star, Dustin Nantais, continues to impress with his recent remix of Michael A for Particles and Tim rounds off the first hour with "Ride Til Dawn" from May's successful EP.

Part 2 sees Greek producer Pete McCarthey make his mark while Spanish artist Soulwerk demonstrates his current run of form with a remix of Israeli, Chicola, and his "Ghost Train". Ramping up the intensity with consummate ease, new label, Intemporal, takes its bow with an initial offering from Dark Soul Project while, contributing a further pair of track from his own recent catalogue, Tim Penner makes a sizeable impression with the title track from "The Tunnel" EP in all its techno glory.

A rising force and a growing stature, Tim Penner's Visceral encounter will get blood pumping and dance floors moving.
