1962: Ursula Andress, the ultimate Bond Girl, glides out of the Caribbean Sea in a skimpy bikini and carries her conches up onto the lonely beach of Crab Key island, all the while singing one of the most famous melodies in the history of film: "Underneath The Mango Tree".
In the role of James Bond, Sean Connery is actually in hot pursuit of Dr. No at the time, but he decides, once he has regained his composure at the sight of Honey Ryder in brine, to take a break from his normal working day and croon along with her: an unforgettable movie moment.
Fast forward to 2014. Da Hool, one of the most successful Techno producers of all time, and creator of one of the biggest instrumental dance tracks ever with "Meet Her At The Love Parade", selling around 15 million units, resolves to transport this wonderful song into the club world of the present. What he has in mind isn't the obvious smooth summer-house track, but a hard electronic contrast to the mango-sweet melody.
The result is stunning. This track works just as well on the terrace of the Space in Ibiza as on the Main Stage of the Tomorrowland festival, but more on that later...
