City Wall Records is 50 releases young! And number 5 zero is Nelman's relentless banger Train Yard which also features a host of tasty remixes. The original is essentially a multi drum machine driven industrial techno expedition with some tasty filtering that creates a sound reminiscent of the Oliver Lieb killer track Strike. The Tosi, Xilinox and Akkya remixes all keep their heads well above water on the hard stakes whereas the rest of the pack are of a more experimental ilk. Daz Furey gets all mash-up on us, Tuomas Rantanen goes space-age, Patrex recreates the train experience, Lady Vusumzi's Original Remix is just unstoppable while Ross Harper gets weird with the acid line. The promos have been a massive hit with support from Dave The Drummer, Mark EG, Spark Taberner, Rolf Mulder, Israel Toledo, Patrick DSP, Concrete DJz, Gabeen, TWIST3D, LARIX, Recore, Steve Pain, Derek Taylor, Sade Rush and Datamatrix to name a few. Away from City Wall Nelman is not short of a release or two at the moment with tracks coming out on Elektrax, Plastiq, Sound of Techno, Chibar, Viral Outbreak, Spaceal Orbeats, Login and Fixate.
