UK producer, Scotty.A, is at the razor's edge of the current modern underground scene. Launched onto an unsuspecting public as a result of winning the Denis A "Heroin" remix competition in 2010, Scott Andrews now steps forward into "Tomorrow" with a stunning, new three-track EP.

From the county town of Norfolk, Scotty.A's ascent to the upper echelons of the underground dance fraternity has been nothing short of meteoric. From his Norwich home, Andrews has become a regular contributor to Proton Music with a score of production credits sitting proudly alongside his name. Furthermore, a recent contribution the "Compiled and Mixed" series has seen Scotty.A showcase a platinum set of DJ skills and intimate knowledge of the current underground dance scene.

2012's remix of Nick Stoynoff opened the door to a trio of original EPs that have lit up Proton Music with Scotty's talismanic brand of melody and rhythm. April 2013 saw a debut in "The World Turns" while the 4-track "Natural Senses" was brought to the fore in July the same year. A clutch of remixes from such luminaries as Dousk, Silinder and Navar then paid tribute to Scotty.A's originals, before "Expressions of the Soul" provided spiritual nourishment in early 2014 followed by remixes from Lonya, Paul Hazendonk and Noraj Cue.

A further remix of techno legend, Oliver Lieb, further raised the bar on a rapidly rising talent and thus it is with tremendous pleasure that Proton announces the release of a fourth in a line of original EPs from the Scotty.A stable as "Tomorrow" marks the next waypoint on his production travels.

Opening track, "Waiting For Tomorrow" reveals the thematic concepts inherent in Andrews' work. A work of melodic and rhythmic majesty is gradually unveiled through clever use of subtle layers and extraordinary knowledge of electronic music production. Warm motifs swirl around the stereo spectrum in effortless ease, rising and falling in tandem with delicate percussive rhythm to create subconscious dance floor mastery.

"Next Chapter" begins with familiar house beats, accompanied by richly textured keys that develop their own rhythmic characteristic. Building with grace and poise, an aural picture is painted with a series of melodic sequences that blend seamlessly with deep bass groove and smooth percussive interplay to create an elaborate sonic painting.

Final track, "Chapter's End" provides an immaculate continuation of its predecessor as the same melodic phrase provides the basis for a new rhythmic counterpoint to play its part accompanied by the subtle birdsong effects. A further set of pads then hold an enchanting chord sequence adding another dynamic element to a highly intelligent and thoughtful work.

A talented producer with an illustrious past and present, Scotty.A now steps into "Tomorrow" with a very bright future ahead.
