Dimitris who knows a thing or two when it comes to mind blowing reworks, turns his mixes into an irresistible tracks using the original elements with perfection. He layers more melodies and effects, whilst upping the flow with cleverly programmed percussion and his trademark FX elements, without destroying the essence of the originals. His rework deserves to be branded 'essential' in any sense of the word.
First up on the White Room, Dimitris reworks Lindbergh's "The Empire" by bringing a nice club edge to the mix, where he layers more melodies and effects, whilst upping the energy with cleverly programmed percussion and his trademark bass. The track continues to build on a solid foundation of tough percussive grooves and harmonies before coming to its conclusion.
For Plus Thirty's "Never Alone" he uses rhythmic beeps and a mellow synth stab to create a driving rhythm before the atmospheric pads create a beautiful setting, which fires with all guns blazing to produce a club monster that growls. Combining the best of both worlds, Dimitris has come up with something unique and distinctive to make this release extra special.
On the final remix Dimitris gives Korean superstar Lights on Head "Come Again" track the remix treatment, with a more melodic and irresistible outing by using the original elements with perfection. It's all about the laid back vibes and the melancholic beats that are working their magic around Dimitris's wonderfully arranged keys that create an irresistible rhythm while clever chords take the mind on a trip straight to chill house central.
Dimitris P's "The White Room" is an accomplished piece of work that highlights, that he is a true master of his craft. Massive stuff that is not to be missed!
