2010 has been the year of new signings at the Ego HQ, the label brought you brilliant releases from the talents of Analog People In A Digital World and Tim Deluxe, DKS, Jose Nunez, The Loose Cannons, Magik Johnson, Mephisto and Kurtis Blow, Nari & Milani, Paolo Mojo, Paul Harris and Steve Mac, Richard Dinsdale, Tomas Hedberg and Wally Lopez to name drop one or two. Kickin off 2011 Ego is proud to welcome not one but two international dancefloor icons Sharam Jey and Tommie Sunshine to its roster. What a way to launch the new year!

Collaborations between successful producers and well-known guest singers arent really out of the ordinary these days. However producers getting one another on board for a vocal feature is a pretty rare phenomena. Not in the case of German DJ and production powerhouse Sharam Jey. On his brand new single The Things taking over the mic its no other than NYCs excentric looking grandeur of Dance Tommie Sunshine, who is well known for his latest collaborations with the likes of Felix Da Housecat and DJ Hell or his remixes for acts like The Gossip, Kelis and The Killers.

An idea that turned out to deliver the perfect addition to the easy-going Electro Pop tune with its feisty sound samples and playful synth grooves. The Things is a really catchy banger.

And such a release deserved to be refined with only the best remix treatment. So we summed up an amazing variety remix package for you from well-known and upcoming talents like Cyberpunkers, Funkerman, Junior Sanchez, Gyber, Mr. Wonk, Maxcherry and others. So you should have no problems digging your favourite version of this smash
