Le Brion presents his second release on Behold, this time commanding attention as a solo contributor. It is now clear Le Brion is creating a sound all on his own and his talents are surely on the rise. Having an Ep now all to himself, he clearly showcases what a deep underground house release is supposed to be about; three cuts of lush sexed up grooves with swung sophistication which never lacks movement and doesn't try too hard. He starts things off naturally with the self-titled "Synchronicity", not wasting any time setting the mood. Melodic landscapes and groove driven (almost arpy) basses are at the forefront of this vessel followed by eerie echoed guitar chords which is not only a staple in this Ep, but seems to be a recurring sound Le Brion is obviously be trying to portray. That is fine with us. Selection two aptly named "Hypnotic Daze " goes into one liner vocal hooks and clubbed out percussion with a bass line that seamlessly progresses and might rot your teeth at the same time. Simple, straight up, dubbed out dirt. Cleansed with immaculate arrangement and shiny bright chords, Le Brion is definitely keepin it goin with this one. Track three: "Journey Within" is last but certainly not least on our agenda. This warm-up type material serves up even more brilliantly executed piano chords and somewhat spooky guitar riffs with perfectly placed adlibs and clever bulging bass, not only for opening sets, but also an easy fit for after-club forums as well. Enjoy.
