Timo Maas' percussive showdown was definitely one of THE surprising tracks of the past year and has ruled more or less every dancefloor from Ibiza via London to Frankfurt. Really not an easy job to re-issue this inherent part of the collective club memory 2008 as a remix, without getting the short end of the stick when compared to the original. So, the Rhodos-born Poker Flat- and Ibadan-producer Argy avoided to rebuild the perfect hedonism of the original, but is shining with carefully accented Tech House and a massive, subsonic bass kick, before the recognition comes to your mind with the guitar motif after three minutes. However, the 23-year-old Argy succeeds in creating a hypnotic remix at its best, which - by means of dubby chants - lets the summer return into the frosty world again. A small sensation is the signing of the second remixer: Sharam Tayebi - who is already Grammy-awarded with the legendary US House duo Deep Dish, together with Ali "Dubfire" Shirazinia - is throbbing through the speakers for uncompromising eleven more minutes, with a bone-dry bass drum, a deep organ break and full dub workload. Simply terrific!
