Pilbus Records begins the year by bringing us the clear evidence with its first 12' vinyl record release called 'Subdoubt EP'.
The label founded in 2008 by Subdoubt and based in Lille (northern France), offers us the first release of Subdoubt who proposes that we hear his voice, somewhat tortured and hacked, saying his name that is the title of this EP. The beat of the original mix drives us to slam our head in the wall on every percussion, and the huge bassline carries us to an upside down voice section.
This release is also an opportunity for Pilbus Records to feature the famous producer Remute (aka Denis Karimani), an artist that Subdoubt loves and supports since many years, and who pefectly adapted the powerful techno theme of the original mix. From a swinging beat to a completely tortured declination of the original theme, Remute proves his ability to create striking remixes without degrading the overall spirit of the original mix. Recalling the main sounds and atmosphere of the original track, Remute declines each percussive sound to compose new beats and to shake everyone's brain.
To conclude this EP, 'Running' is rolling around a hopping beat enhanced by a drilling sound that will ensure you a violent headache when played at a noisy level. This track will surely take you with its meteoric rising break.
As good news never come alone, Pilbus Records annouces us the next releases, the 'Part One EP' by Macsim Ganczarczyk with an original Franco Cinelli remix and, after it, the 'Héloïse EP' by Nathan Hell with Tony Rohr and Subdoubt great remixes !
