When Morten Trøst unveiled his Soulmagic alias with his debut release in 2003, the record, bearing the same name as his new pseudonym, became an instant house classic. Now, nearly twenty later, the track still resonates on dancefloors, with these three brand new remixes on Soulfuric Recordings securing its club appeal for another decade. Up first, north London duo Saison deliver their funk-laden mix, with a firm nod to their classic house influences. Up next, Italian powerhouse producer Marco Lys ups the ante with a driving bassline and adrenaline fuelled builds. Finally, Morten, joined by newer member of Soulmagic Mikkel Wendelboe, return to the track that started it all, weaving in irresistible melodies and jazz-infused instrumentals to produce a transformative remix.
