Voodoo and Prayers is back for only our second release and hot on the heels of the outstanding VP001 and the awesome combination of Moojaa, Norman H and Robert Babicz on Hidden Depths, which reached the dizzy heights of No3 and No5 in the Indie Dance / Nu disco and Electronica / Downtempo Beatport Release Charts, which we could'nt be more grateful for.

Never being one to conform to genres, this time we change things up at Voodoo and Prayers and spread our wings in to the realms of house music with VP002 we keep things in the family with cousins Mark Dedross and Jason Noble on this release the Sonix EP.
Mark is no stranger to electronic music, and has had remixes for Raze on there 25th Anniversary of the classic 'Break for love' and has also collaborated, written and produced alongside Trance legends Tiesto, M.I.K.E, Haak and Gareth Emery. He has also had productions with Emma Black, Nicholls and Dime, and more recently as part of Deeptrak featuring on labels such as Pukka Up, Discopolis and Simma Black.

The Voodoo side of things is expressed with the track 'Sonix'. Mark has teamed up with Jason Noble on this the title track of the EP and they have found common ground and a low head down under standing with this sound space for the 4 in the morning crew. Sonix slowly builds swirling around your head in to a driving track of some considerable weight, which by the end feels like its clubbing you over the head and mugging you of your faculty's. With drum rolls and sharp percussion, coupled with a voodoo rhythm that will infect your time on the dance floor, this is a detour from what has gone in the past for Mark and we can assure you there is more to come.

As we always do, we try to find the balance for our releases and this is no exception with the prayers side where Mark has given us the track "Elsewhere" and it does exactly that. You could be on any beautiful beach you like with the waves crashing on the shore and mid day party vibes in the air. This lovely piece of tingly wonderfulness just lifts your vibration to the right frequency, and the melodic landscape of this track, will carry you of in to a night of Voodoo.
