  • Description Lace up your high tops and finish your drinks, `cause when Smut Pushers' new EP hits the decks, you're looking at a whole new dancefloor. "Rainbow Sherbet" isn't another tired jam about getting lit and laid, it's a testament to the inner child inside us all, who, at the end of the day craves just one thing: fuckin' ice cream son! Hovering between Hip-Hop, Funky Bassline and Tropical House, and featuring the vocal talents of BrakeMonster, the title track comes through with all the boogie and attitude that got you held back a grade. On the flip side, Smut Pushers grinds out a mental, drum-heavy number with this soon-to-be killer dancehall filler "I'm a Drummer". Served up alongside these originals are a slew of fresh remixes from some of the hottest names in underground dance: rising diva DJ Vivi Diamond offers a fresh Dutch House take on Rainbow Sherbet, while Paul David's remix carries it from the after hours all the way to peak time at the superclub. Proper Villains inject proper heavy bass into I'm a Drummer, while Gooffee throws down hands-up builds aplenty and Peter Lee knocks out some garage-inspired roughness. With energy and range sweeping full across the board, Smut Pushers' debut EP has the poison to please just about any crowd.
