progressive EP from Victoria, British Columbia's, Claude Wolfenstein.
Claude Wolfenstein is a brand new project from Canadian producer 'Just Joba' taking his
sound exploration skills into the domain of the more upbeat dance culture. With his sound
engineering education and an unwavering desire to explore the limits of auditory creation,
he is poised to take this new project on a journey through tasteful soundscapes atop jazzy
synthesizer manipulations. Inspired by the likes of Electrocado and Tim Exile, Claude has
sights set on diverse and interesting dance music and pulling further inspirations from
psychedelic legends like Ott and Sbtrkt, this new direction is sure to drop something
unique in your collection with every release.
The Puzzle EP brings light to this new path with a methodical fusion of deep grooving
rhythms and uplifting vibes brought together with some progressive techno. The title track
opens up the EP with rich atmospherics, elegant arpeggios and a cloud-like positivity that
will have you reaching for the stars in this inspiriting Progressive House tune. The B-side,
'Oceans' featuring Ian Hertz has the flavour of that deep, rolling Booka Shade sound we all
know and love with an inspired Techno roller. Remixing the title track, Ian Hertz drops the
Electro basslines onto ever increasing energy in this rich exploration of tones. This debut
release is not to be missed and we can't wait to see where this new project goes!
