UM Records celebrates it's second birthday with nUMusic Vol.2 - seven tracks of deep house from some familiar names and some new faces to the UM family taking a more club orientated direction. Dilby (Beef Records, Gartenhaus) opens the album with a killer track entitled 'Starting Over' - pulsating beats and hypnotic vocals from the Berlin based Kiwi. Italian Submantra (Acryl Music, Loco Records) makes his first appearance on UM pushing things on with some dreamy vibes and more bounding beats in 'Friday Night'. Another UM debutant, Tim Andresen (What Happens, DeepWit) unleashes 'Our House' - a typically driving track of depth from the Danish Dj/producer. Santiago Santamaria (Savoir Faire, Plaster) returns to UM continuing his long-standing relationship with us offering up yet more sumptuous warmth in 'City Groove' an effortless journey with some deep tech hints. Another first release on UM next from Ready Mix Records label boss Big Al (iRecords, Cosmic Disco). 'Soul & Full' picks up the tempo with a dramatic later night, harder vibe. Portofino-Sunrise (Soul Departure, Tempura) injects some sax-appeal into proceedings and a chunky bassline rolling under some sunset moods. Rounding things off comes Jon Salem (Spaceland Records) a new name to many I'm sure, but his crisp, techier house meets moody deep house style is sure to lead to much more from the Detriot based DJ/producer.
