Oxossi's music is the embodiment of strange. He effortlessly combines his penchant for the weird and wonky, creepy melodies with complex beat arrangement and sub crushing basslines.. pulling it all together in a way that just works. And oh boy does it work! Whether it's the melancholic, haunted, ghostly sounds of Magdelena which all of a sudden crescendos into a ripping Mariachi-esque horn refrain. The straight up gore horror of Morbid Impulses (do not skip the second drop on this monsterpiece). The dance-rounsing bassline in Sweat. Sosa's cold spy thriller vibes or the pure unnerving creepiness of 'Dead Thorns'... this whole release is one journey straight into the depths, you're not going to want to come back from this trip.
