A great builder using a simple synth stab to create build up such tension before cutting it with a knife and going straight back to the Techy groove. A winner.
Dynamics of Ballet, equally as big, if not bigger…(we all have our favourites)… is simple to start and slightly harder than the flip. Three acid claps and the rolling bassline tell you this is going to be anything but sane, building each 16 bars like clockwork you’d be mistaken for thinking that this track was music by numbers… but wait for it… just when you thought it was safe to get stuck on the dancefloor the track dissolves into chaos. Make sure your shoes are tied now because out of nowhere comes this massive synth line that will make you jump in the air faster than you can say shoelaces. Double Cool.
Kicking off 2008 with a helter-skelter tour of Australia & New Zealand; electro DJ, remixer and producer Tom Neville is set for the most exciting year of his career. Alongside this; look out for his new band project ColouringIn (www.myspace.com/wearecolouringin). LoveminusZero -his own label- is proving a roaring success, releases including that of; Specktrum, Tommy fourseven and Chaim.
Tom is also no stranger to impressive remix action. Already known for his remixes of 'Milshake' by Kelis and 'Destroy Rock & Roll' by Mylo, Tom has more recently lent his magic remix touch to hot new fodder from the new UK Number 1 – The Ting Tings – “That’s Not My Name” and is now remixing their next single too!
Look out for more from Tom and Gower soon!
