  • Enter the world of Snails, a place of screeching synth melodies and earth shaking bass drums; a rogue planet, drifting through the universe, where all weary travelers can gather to revel in the rapturous wonders of Snail music. As the planet approaches Earth, the last surviving humans, those uninfected by the Kannibalen virus, decide to see if this mysterious orb holds the key to resisting the infection. The warrior shaman Apashe is thus sent to the Snail world, where he discovers mind-bending sounds and strange rhythms that astound his senses and instill in him the hope that this new music may indeed be the answer to fighting Kannibalen.

The EPs title track is a good example of the uniqueness of Snails. Magnet is an unconventional hybrid of trap, trance and electro, a brilliant journey through layers of uplifting synth melodies that culminate in an out-of-this world drop of morphing formant bass notes and booming 808 kicks. For the second track, Staxx, Snails reunites with fellow Kannibalen producer Apashe, his collaborator on the trap hit Bubble Gun. The result is a menacing trunk-rattler, filled with ominous horns and a guttural, pitched-down vocal hook. Both tracks stand out for their huge sound and are set-ready to blow up during the 2013 festival season. Its all about Snail music.
