  • Description After releasing his seminal "Albert E.P" last year, showcasing his talent for making dark, atmosphere drenched future garage, the Copengagen based producer takes things down a few bpm on his next offering "Lucky ft Anna Lena.

Albert started making Hip-Hop beats while he was still living with the old folks back in 1995. In around 2001, he turned on to 4/4 rhythms and In the space of only a few years he had become an accomplished DJ and producer, playing at nights all over town and bagged himself a residency at Dunkel, one of Denmark's premier club nights. Not content with this early success though, he continued to develop his exciting sound until a few years ago, Dubstep and 2-step caught his attention and the rest, as they say, "is history"..

Teaming up with Norwegian singer songwriter Anna Lena on lead track "Lucky", the pair bring a slice of brooding Scandinavian winter to your eardrums. Albert crafts a beautifully melodic playground for Anna's unforgettable voice to resonate throughout, making sure every hair on the back of your neck stands up.

To counteract the pop sensibilities of "Lucky", there are two accompanying cuts that lean more towards the club."Dripping The Who"ft Papa Jawal the Legendary Jamaican recording artist this is deep, soulful precision-engineered electronic music at its best. Drawing from Dub, House and Garage, this track full of magic vocal touches and other wizardry with a level of production that most people dream of. Next up, "Sustain" operates around the 130bpm mark, weaving sparse melodies, bass stabs and warm pad textures through super-tight broken beat rhythms, whilst retaining huge amounts of space and air in the track.
