Born in ____ in _____, Cameroon, Momo Joseph was known more for his endeavors in acting than for his musical output, having appeared in various French films between 1977 and 2000, including 'La Haine' (1995) and L'Africain (1983). However, his single 'Africa Land of Soul', originally released in 1980 on BBZ Productions, is acknowledged by many as being an amazing piece of relentless West African disco and has recently become highly sought-after by collectors and DJs alike. Momo lived most of his life in Paris (is this correct?), however always retained a strong connection to his native Cameroon and to other fellow Cameroonian musicians such as Tala A.M. and ____. He sadly passed away in ______, however his spirit lives on in both his thespian and musical legacy. We hope that this much-deserved re-release helps to shine a light on Momo's career and musical genius.
