The latest release from SAW Recordings sees the coming together of youth and experience as label boss Satoshi Tomiie teams up with rising star Iori Wakasa on the Look Ahead EP.

Firmly embedded in the Tokyo club scene, Iori's supreme talent behind the decks and his trademark concoction of Detroit techno, Chicago house and Asian folk and seen him attract the attention of many of his European and US based contemporaries. His own raw and deep style of production has also spawned exciting results and it was one of his 2013 productions that attracted the attention of Satoshi.

"I first met Iori a few years back when I was Dj'ing in Tokyo. Then last year i received a release of his on promo and was happy to discover that he was a really talented producer. I got in touch and sent him my congratulations and from that first conversation a plan was hated to work together on some material."

For the past few months files have been fired back and forth across the Pacific as the NYC - Tokyo collaboration gathered pace. The two track Look Ahead EP is the first musical fruit from the duo and is lead by the title track with its glittering melody, bubbling synth and warm sun-drenched pulses. Drink For You delves deeper with its intoxicating rhythm, woozy keys and rim shots.

An exciting and encouraging first release from Satoshi Tomiie and Iori Wakasa and one that wets the appetite for their future collaborations.

Enjoy!
