Since its beginnings, beloved Chicago imprint Large Music has been a quiet keeper of the house music flame. Founded in 1993 by DJ Jeff Craven, the label has been the preeminent dance label in the genre of house for over 15 years. Large is acclaimed for their steady stream of intoxicating releases that combine and explore several different musical styles. Many of today’s key artists and djs have starred on the Large Music roster including Roy Davis Jr., Miguel Migs, Dennis Ferrer and dance legend Kerri Chandler. This new digital release, Large Music 1.0, launches a new six part series to highlight this fantastic catalog. San Francisco legend Julius Papp, Scottish based artist Solar House, and Baltimore’s very own 95 North are featured in this first installment and showcase the unique, multi-hued Large Music sound.
