Progressive DJ's rejoice! Joel Laviolette-best known for incorporating live drums, modular synths, giant hand-built DIY instruments, and cutting-edge video projection mapping that leave the dancers gasping for more. Who's afraid of 138?

'Just Let It Go' starts in strong with syncopated percussion that will immediately get the dancers knowing that something new is coming! As the synths build and the anticipation grows, we can start to hear that Rattletree wants to take us somewhere a little darker and more mysterious. Sometimes we want to see the magic, and yet the rest of the world wants us to 'just let it go'....But if we don't listen to the masses, then-just maybe-we will see what is on that other side. The piano and angelic vocals help guide our way through the drop as filtered percussion and pads swarm around our heads. As the build up comes, the lead synths make it perfectly clear that they are in charge. The strong melody is held firmly in place by the kick and sub-even as it pulls the listeners ear into polyrhythm. The richness of the multiple layers of sound-even in these heavily mono-synth lead sections will leave us with ear candy for many many listening sessions, and they show that Rattletree is as at home in the realm of deep sound design as they are in creating slamming 138 tracks.
