Dino Lenny is having an identity crisis. Deep down inside, hes a DJ that just wants to be like Prince or Mick Jagger, or The Beatles or the Doors or, most of all, Talking Heads. Never a stranger to colourful ideas, the Italian producer extraordinaire and brain behind a slew of hits like Call Me and (with Meck) Feels Like Home and remixes for INXS, Underworld and Scissor Sisters, fires up the bassline from Talking Headss 1977 classic Psycho Killer, blends it with Hardrives Deep Inside and adds his own inimitable vocal that might be heartfelt, or maybe just funny. Its a mash-up like Michelangelo was a decorator. The prequel comes in the form of A DJ Deep Inside, polished off first by Pirupas chaotic stabs and snatches and Dave Spoons cool deep house alter ego Shadow Child.
