He beat 9000 hopefuls to win BACARDI DJ 2005 after creating the track on the original online music mixer and DJ contest, www.bacardidj.co.uk. His energetic funk fuelled house tune united him with one of the UK's most respected DJ & Producers, Allister Whitehead, with the fruits of their labour exploding as the B-side on this, Allister's new single 'Heaven'. Ross worked with Allister Whitehead after making it through to the final of the BACARDI DJ competition.
