The latest entry in the Terminus Audio catalog comes to us from Brolax Bones, a mysterious artist with previous works on labels such as Corrupt Systems. Label head Jason Mills first received a dozen plus demos from the producer and they set to work narrowing down the wealth of tracks over the course of the past months. The result is something unlike anything yet released on Terminus Audio, an eccentric, cinematic and abrasive experience. Far from your typical club tracks; these are borderline schizophrenic soundscapes for daring DJ's. We proudly present Brolax Bones - Heaven & Hell EP.

TMINUS018 begins with an emotive introduction, the eerie Techno piece 'Won't Need Eyes To See'. Jarring strings show flashes of haunting beauty and brilliance, joined by erratic beats and chopped vocal samples. A powerful opening statement from Brolax Bones.

Next is 'Galaxy', a tough track anchored by a pounding industrial-grade kick drum. An unusual arrangement with featuring a buzzing reece-like bass, ascending/descending subs and old-skool delayed stabs. A very well-rounded an interesting work from Brolax Bones.

'Heavy Duty' features an opening that sounds like something like something out of a horror movie... with an unsettling telephone conversation that is better heard than described - as arpeggiated synths and twisted effects run amok. This track also includes a chunky, understated Hardcore kick and smacking, distorted snares. This would make a killer opening track for people who like it extra dark.

The title track 'Heaven & Hell' is probably the most DJ friendly outting from Brolax Bones on the EP; with crisp, breaky rolling percussion, booming reverberated drums and excellent atmospheric sound design. Definitely something one could see themselves hearing in Manu Le Malin's revolutionary sets. A sinister production.

Finally, 'Model' closes the forward-thinking 'Heaven & Hell EP'. An outro of sorts opening to churning Industrial background noise. A seemingly intoxicated bass drum staggers alongside high, over-driven strings and large looming effects - a fitting ending to the release.

Brolax Bones is a different breed of producer. We are happy to have him in the ranks of Terminus Audio. Something fresh for your collection. Out November 16th.
