Venezuelan DJ and producer Alfredo Mena is back with more tasty tech house treats, this time around he delivers the superb three track Give Me More EP. It's been over a year since we last had a taste of this guys quality vibes, back in April 2015 he gave us Do You Remember which was very well received indeed.

Give Me More settles into a hypnotic groove right from the off thanks to some fantastic kick drums and intricate percussion patterns. A deep churning bass fills up the low end while those drum patterns intensify. An acid laced single note weaves through the sound as diva fuelled vocals ring out. The synth line goes through various changes adding some very cool textures to the sound which add to the tech house flavour beautifully. A rip roaring tech house slice that will definitely be a welcome addition in any set.

My Urban Sounds intros with a nice chunky kick drum and a plucky offset bass as crispy hi hats fade in. The bass grows in stature and is beefed up to a solid low end sub that emits a lot of power into the groove. Sweeping pads and FX fill the spectrum as a deep vocal pops up to bring an urban flavour to the sound. Warping synths come through adding some spice to the groove only to make way for some very cool retro style sounds. A deep groover here that is not to be missed.

Time To Get heads straight for the floor with its solid kick and hat combi which is backed up with a deep probing bass. The shuffling percussions soon get the rhythm into full swing as the bass intensifies and transforms into a full on in your face monster. Cool vocals litter the sound, deep spoken word and tribalistic singing work very well in contrast. Sharp plucky synths go through some expert tweaking resulting in a surreal experience that blends perfectly in the groove. Another fine slice from Alfredo that will not disappoint.
