The Axis Trax Team x
Already making a stir on the scene is the new and exciting talent of DJ /Producer Martin Wright. He has been one of the world's most in-demand DJs for several years, and is currently best known for shining the light for Fierce Angels, Mark Doyle's hugely successful brand, across the four corners of the world, as well as whipping up some dazzling new remixes which are set to be huge.
With remixes already done for artists like Lilly Allen & Professor Green, McClean, Seamus Haji, Melissa Indot, Vanessa Amorosi, The Fierce Collective and Cassette Club, and new productions under his own DJ name plus other guises (Fast Trak/Lopez Twins/Disco Lunatics/Rogue Elementz), recently signed and due out this summer on Stealth Records, Ministry Of Sound, Fierce Angels, Stoney Boy and Axis Trax. Martin is set to become one of the new kids on the block.
Known far and wide as Fierce Angels' most fearless DJ, Martin often takes up some of the farthest-flung resident gigs to the four corners of the world, including Toronto, Dubai & Ibiza. But it isn't all disco balls and dance floors for Mr. Wright, his passion, remains producing. And this summer sees Martin return to the studio to deliver his premiere new club tune 'Forgiveness' snapped up on Axis Trax, with vocals care of Angie Brown & Simon Green. A stunning vocal house anthem that is set to tear up any dancefloor.
Already an experienced artist within her own right, Angie Brown calls herself the original South London Girl as she was born in Clapham. She grew up in Brixton and began her singing career in the early 1990s. Angie started out as a freelance singer doing sessions and toured with major names throughout the world.
Angie's biggest hit to date was in 1992, with a deliciously infectious tune called "I'm Gonna Get You" which reached Number 3 in the UK charts in October 1992. Her vocals featured heavily on the track, which was created by 3 young DJ's/remixers from Stratford called Bizarre Inc. For all involved, it remains their biggest hit. She teamed up with Bizarre Inc. again the following year on "Took My Love". Angie has also sung backing vocals for the likes of Grace Jones, Beverley Knight, Mark Morrison, The Rolling Stones, Kate Bush, Chaka Khan, Heaven 17, Neneh Cherry, Lisa Stansfield, The Stereophonics and Fat Boy Slim to name a few!
Born in Folkestone, raised in Bury, Simon Green is with any doubt one of the most credible voices on the music scene and one to listen out for. Having worked with Chaka Khan, A Tribe Called Quest, Richard Earnshaw, Sybil, Angie Brown, Martin Degville, Darryl Pandy and a host of others at one time or another. I think with this young man, we need say no more!
