Its not every day you reach your 70th release, but that is what Swiss techno powerhouse !Organism will do on May 25th when they serve up a new EP from Stevie Wilson, featuring a sterling remix from Xhei.

Stevie Wilson is an award winning producer influenced by the likes of Len Faki and Laurent Garnier who has a high energy sound that has been supported by the likes of Chris Liebing. As well as playing all over his native Scotland and Europe, he has released on The-Zone, Italo Business and of course !Organism.

Up first, Follow Me is a wobbly, funky techno cut that is rich with atmospheric touches as the groove rolls on. An evocative breakdown is filled with pretty patterns but once the drums land again its all about the dance floor stampede that will ensue.

Remixer Xhei is from Argentina and has made his name with his own unique tough and minimal sound. His take is a steely and stern, with drilling sub bass and overdriven hi hats making for a manic sense of techno urgency.

Lastly, Stone Wall is a fizzing cut with post apocalyptic white noise and bleakness characterising the thudding groove. Distant vocals, drum fills and lo-fi texture all make the another winning outing from Wilson and !Organism.
