Sleepy Time Ghost, one half of rising Sound System stars Ghost Writerz, comes with his debut solo single for Tru Thoughts. "Feel" feat. Bahia sees the London based producer exploring deep and soulful, ska-laced modern R&B territory with the help of a stunning garage-inflected vocal performance from London based Swedish singer Bahia.

As the main production hand in Ghost Writerz, alongside top MC and singer Jimmy Screech, Sleepy Time Ghost - aka Harry Metcalfe - has recently seen a huge surge in profile thanks to their recent singles, "Back It Up" and the Pete Cannon collaboration "How We Living". With airplay and features from BBC Radio 1/1Xtra's Huw Stephens, Toddla T, MistaJam, Friction, Monki and B.Traits, plus Ras Kwame (Capital Xtra), Goldierocks, Bang FM, Mi-Soul, Radio Nova and Deja Vu, not to mention BBC 6Music's Don Letts, Steve Lamacq and Huey Morgan, they have also been covered by the likes of RWD Mag, Complex, CMU Daily, Clash, Mercury Prize Recommends and many more.

"Feel feat. Bahia" continues the march of the New Wave of Sound System Culture coming through via Tru Thoughts' freshly launched Sharp And Ready platform, and its soulful elegance illuminates a new facet of the scene. The song grew from an effortless musical chemistry the first time Sleepy and Bahia stepped into the studio together. With the sure hand of Hylu at the controls, Sleepy's deep yet playful production and Bahia's vocals slotted together like magic, leading to the classic yet cutting-edge sound of "Feel". Tapping into Trip Hop influences, here Bahia adds a darkness and longing to the trademark combination of Dub riddim and Hip Hop sway that has seen her build a reputation on London's underground and beyond through performances alongside the likes of King's Hifi and Contact Play's Jam Baxter and collaborations with diverse beatsmiths from Ben 9mm and Ghosttown to The Stereotypes (Justin Bieber, Mary J Blige & The Far East Movement).
