With Fake Existence we welcome 238W alumni Sonderzug to Hydrogen. His last outing on 238W back in November was received to high acclaim – with big support from the likes of Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Sasha, Cid Inc., Robert Babicz, David Granha and many more at the time. On his long awaited Hydrogen debut, Sonderzug delivers a slice of early spring vibes that put you in the right mood for a big night out. The track kicks things off nicely with its melancholic moodiness shining through, while the sultry chords sit wonderfully on top adding an extra layer of depth. Fake Existence once more confirms Sonderzug's knack for classy and intricate productions. Essential stuff!

David R Maddocks, famed for his intricate and refined productions delivers his take on 'Fake Existence'. His rework creates tension from the word go, as the atmospheric vibe subtly keeps you moving with warm tinkling sounds, a smooth edge and some nicely effected sounding pieces. We basically have the formula for a bit of a monumental outing. The sparseness is the key here, as this restrained gem works its magic while it plays away, creating a warm glow, creating an air of sophistication.

George Yammine, who makes his debut on Hydrogen and is known for his polished sound. He keeps the ethereal theme of the original alive, as the pulsating bass powers along, before its drum fills and general warmth all combine to do the talking. Like something from yesteryear, yet sounding fresh - This mystical touch up takes the energy levels up a notch, but increases the melancholy with stripped back and lucid elements at the same time, before the luscious pads grace the rework changing the vibe and creating a blanket of warmth that wraps around the effected groove.

Next up we have a remix courtesy of London based Candi Bianca who delivers a trademark deep mix with infectious chords, intense drums and smooth breakdown. It's all about the groove, silky house vibes and the melancholic beats that are working their magic around Candi's wonderfully arranged keys that create an irresistible rhythm while clever chords take the mind on a trip. A truly beautiful cultivated rework.

Last but not least we have Ilya Gerus who makes a welcome return to Hydrogen after his successful Sleipnir's Adventures release on the label back in March. His interpretation sounds mature, effortless, and full of subtle nuance. Never one to be bound by any particular style or genre, this is him taking a deeper route. Ilya delivers a bittersweet, quality fuelled, melancholic rework that still manages to get your toe tapping with each downbeat.

All the ingredients are there for another instant Hydrogen classic. Don't miss out on this marvellous release. 'Fake Existence' sees a worldwide release on May 23rd, 2016!
