This year, Viper celebrated 15 years at the forefront of underground & commercial drum & bass music. With some of the label's biggest releases to date from both new and familiar talent alike, there's no denying 2019 was a memorable year for Futurebound's own Viper Recordings. Bringing new names to the spotlight with Jack Mirror, Millbrook, and the mysterious Giganti, plus albums from Murdock , Dossa & Locuzzed , Matrix & Futurebound, and the return of the legendary Acts of Mad Men compilation, the only way to kick things up yet another notch was to release the biggest and baddest annual compilation yet.
Celebrating such a monumental year, the compilation features tracks from label veteran Cyantific, including his collaborations with Dutch favourites T & Sugah and newcomer Eudaimonia. Viper's hottest rising stars also contributed their fair share to the compilation, with huge tracks from Dossa & Locuzzed, Ekko & Sidetrack, and Blaine Stranger all competing for the spotlight.
This year's annual also features groundbreaking releases from the label's newest signings, with singles from Jack Mirror, Giganti, and Millbrook all weighing in. But in addition to celebrating so much new talent, the annual wouldn't be complete without additions from long-time Viper family DC Breaks, Mad Hed City, Insomniax, and Murdock, and that only scratches the surface.
With 30 tracks covering the full spectrum of drum & bass, the Viper Annual 2020 is a celebration of the label's strength over the years, it's diversity, and family worldwide, and the perfect start to a new decade which is set to be the best one yet.
