The two long time mates Thomas P. Heckmann and Gez Varley aka G-Man finally release their studio sessions they recorded over a short period of time in 2011. Based mainly on live production and using funny and long obsolete instruments and samplers, they managed to throw their long history in music together for these fun sessions. The EP starts with the title track DRIVE INN, very minimal in the production and reduced to the main ingredients a great track needs and definitely to be experienced in a nice club with decent PA. This one also gets a very fine treatment by the Detroit duo AUX 88 as a Mad Scientist remix ! The flipside starts with the Chicago influenced BACKPACK tune, very Techno-House in it's appearance, but not to be mixed up with Tech-House ! Nice swirly and pushing FMed basslines carry this tune into the subconscious. And we finish off this package with the trippy and dubby SIDEWINDER, a great builder with fancy and psychedelic effects and deepness... We love and release on Vinyl! Support by Richie Hawtin, Paco Osuna, M.A.N.D.Y., Italoboyz, ... Umek: cool Raphael Dincsoy Partysan: Drive Inn Samulli Kemppi: Nice one! Really like Aux 88 mix. Also Backpack does it for me. Will play on radio. Franco Bianco: Amazing release with a GREAT rework! ;) Thanks for the music! Full support! Matt Walsh: my favorite AFU this year! great ep! Dave Vega: very nice tracks, and an amazing remix! Xavier Morel: absolutly......wicked.... Dr. Motte: nice oldschool feel here with a TPH kick Nicolas Cuer: Tube ! Drive inn it's a dancefloor bomb, already play it
