It's that time of year again for Defcon's Autumn Sampler, and 2012's edition is here with four new dancefloor fillers!
Up first is Damian Wasse, following up his remix of N&R Project's "Before Daybreak", with a new club mix of his track "Into The Love", ahead of a full single release in the new year. Into The Love is a proggy, chunky affair with a rumbling bassline complimented by uplifting synth stabs.
"Port Of Sorrow" by Cart was one of the hits on last year's Autumn Sampler, and 12 months later, Defcon regulars tranzLift offer their interpretation of the track. Ramping up the energy and slightly toying with the riff, they turn Port Of Sorrow into peak-time anthem.
Both making their first of many forthcoming appearances on the label are Talitha Taylor and Amitacek, with their collaborative track "Nyte Flyte". Talitha, Defcon's first female artist, is a classically trained pianist, whilst Amitacek is an upcoming DJ/producer with a penchant for tough, driving trance, and the result of their combined efforts is a storming beast!
Rounding things off is another Defcon debutant who will be featuring more in future - Daniel Skyver - who lends his talents to remixing one of the label's very first releases, Space Garden - "Sora". He gives the track a new energetic twist and demonstrates why he's another one to be watching in the near future.
