So that there is no confusion, this EP is a replacement for Deep Sensation's collaboration with Althea McQeen, which will not be released. Once again, the producers who came up with "May The Funk Be With You" prove why they are the best at what they do. In some ways like Daniel Wang of Balihu, Deep Sensation takes the genre of '70s soul and reinvent end of millenium house. "Somehow, Somewhere" brilliantly pieces together vocals and music to make it sound as if the whole of the Temptations were reunited with a heavy kick. The instrumental makes you believe that there makes you believe that there is a full band jamming in the studio when in reality it's only two little Scottish guys with some equipement. "Get Up" is a more smoothed out, dancefloor friendly cut. With a full horn section, catchy vocals, a slap guitar, and chimes, it oscillates between deep jazz and funk house. Is it live or memorex, that is the question.
