Mory Yacel takes a break from enjoying the beautiful Costa Rican sunshine to provide Black Sunset with what we expect to be a huge release on the chill out tip. Cracked Hands is a hard one to pin down. Beginning with what at first sounds like haunting piano, before some creative pitchbending gives it an almost western flavour. As more elements are introduced the tone becomes almost sci-fi like, with hints of a spy movie, somewhat reminiscent of the soundtrack work of composer Clint Mansell. This is high praise indeed. Cracked Hands is one of those rare tunes that is difficult to describe in a few short paragraphs. The best way to experience it, is to listen for yourself.
