Filthy Rich Clairvoyance KULT Records (original Review 1995)
The jazzy organ on this Feeling Happy cut is wonderful, no wonder Deep Dish licensed this for their up and coming compilation DJs Take Control on One records. It's smooth and exactly what you can listen to any time. This record is not busy but has good energy to it. If you want a song to open an evening or even close, this is it. The female vocal in the background doesn't take away from it, but only gives it a smooth flavor which I like. We should hear more from Filthy Rich. Great record. A much harder background is dominant on "I'll be gone". The vocals again are great but smooth. The bass line gets funky at midpoint and then it takes you on your own. I would carry this as an opening record. Very interesting cut is "Clairvoyance"!! The sound effects in the background makes you feel like you're in heaven. It just moves and moves and never stops. This instrumental is a must in your collection for a record well produced. Give it a listen to, you just might like it. While on "Elevate Me" Hallelujah, Hallelujah she sings. This is hot. I like this underground house sound. The bass line on this one kicks. Catch it, seriously. This is a peak record for the dance floor. After listening to this one, your imagination will get carried away with, "I know what I'll mix this one with." This is a must record. If you've missed it, get it, now.
