Label boss Da Fresh pushes the envelope even further with two slices of groovy goodness which, while different from one another, bring cohesiveness to the table with no effort at all. "Can't Turn You" is led by discordant synth stabs that evolve and mutate, keeping the spotlight on them at all times. Sonar-esque low frequencies keep the momentum high together with the rocksteady rhythm section, and a housey vocal makes repeat appearances in order to keep the suspense going. On "Forget", things are completely turned around and the action is held back just a bit in order to let the anthemic tendencies unfold. Warbling synth lines and confident chords kick things off before letting retro strings do all the talking, elevating the track to the level of a nostalgic, analog masterpiece.
